Healthcare expert and businessman Tim Murawski is the President and Chief Commercial Officer of Augmedics, a company that specializes in augmented reality for healthcare. He has been with the company since its inception and has seen it grow into one of the leading providers of AR technology for hospitals and clinics worldwide. Tim Murawski was born in Toronto, Canada, in 1968. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto in 1991. 

After working for a few years as an engineer, he decided to pursue a career in business. He received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1997. Tim Murawski began his career in the healthcare industry, working as a consultant for Accenture. He then held various positions at Baxter International, a medical device company. 

In 2006, he joined Augmedics medical research firm, where he has been instrumental in developing and commercializing the company’s augmented reality technology. Up to now, augmented reality is still in its early stages of development, but it has the potential to revolutionize healthcare (Twitter). 

The healthcare expert believes that AR will eventually be used for various applications, including patient education, surgical planning, and even treatment. He is confident that Augmedics’ technology will play a significant role in this transformation. The company’s first product is an augmented reality system that can be used for spine surgery. 

The system provides surgeons with real-time, three-dimensional images of the patient’s anatomy, which allows for more precise procedures.
